| The Pittsburgh Steelers 2008 schedule was the toughest in the NFL. Even though they had the toughest schedule, the Pittsburgh Steelers were able to compile a 12- 4 record and win their 6th Super Bowl to become the first National Football League team to win more than 5 Super Bowls. Although the Steelers struggled on offense with quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger, the defense, anchored by safety, Troy Polamalu and linebacker and Super Bowl XLIII MVP, James Harrison, were the #1 defense in the league. The 2009 Pittsburgh Steelers schedule seems easier, although they open with the tough Tennessee Titans. |
